Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an AutoCAD Draftsman/Architectural Drafter Assistant to design and implement MEP systems using AutoCAD and Revit. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in civil engineering and 1-2 years of drafting experience. Training is provided for candidates without relevant experience. This is a permanent position with a salary package up to $3000 plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years as a 2D CAD drafter in construction will be advantageous.
• Candidates without relevant experience are encouraged to apply, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and, preferably, Revit to design and implement MEP systems.
• Ensure CAD drawings meet quality standards.
• Revise drawings based on mark-ups and specifications.
• Verify drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Convert sketches into CAD drawings and interpret mechanical/process designs.
• Develop and apply work methodologies.
• Keep all project drawings up-to-date, including producing shop and as-built drawings.
• Offer technical support and participate in project meetings.
• Prepare engineering documents for submission.
• Capable of working in both indoor and outdoor environments on-site.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
