Job summary

A leading crane and transport company in Singapore is hiring an AutoCAD draftsman. The ideal candidate will create technical drawings and lifting plans using CAD software and ensure compliance with all necessary regulations. Applicants should have at least 3 years of drafting experience, preferably with a background in mechanical engineering and a Class 3 driving license. This role involves outdoor work and operates on a 5.5 days workweek.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ drafting experience required.
• Background in mechanical engineering is preferable.
• Class 3 driving license will be an advantage.

Job Requirement

• Competent to create technical drawing & lifting plans using computer-aided design (CAD) softwares, ie AutoCAD.
• Conduct research to ensure drawings comply with all necessary codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs align with project goals and are technically feasible.
• Conduct field surveys and site visits to gather data and ensure crane suitability and existing structures are considered in new designs.
• Minimum 3 years’ drafting experience, background in mechanical engineering is preferable.
• Class 3 driving license will be an advantage.
• Candidates should be willing to work outdoors when required.
• 5.5 days week.
