SG ALUMINIUM PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated AutoCAD Drafter cum Admin to join our team. This dual-role position focuses on creating precise 2D drawings for aluminium and glass installations and supporting office administration and coordination.

Ideal candidates will have strong AutoCAD skills, basic construction/fabrication knowledge, and comfort with project documentation, data entry, quotations, and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting is essential).
• 2-3 years of drafting experience, preferably in construction or aluminium/glass industry.
• Basic understanding of aluminium fabrication and architectural drawings is a plus.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings for aluminium and glass door, gate, window, and grille installations.
• Interpret technical drawings, site measurements and customer specifications.
• Update and revise drawings as needed based on feedback from project managers or clients.
• Liaise with fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and design revisions.
• Handle data entry, filing and document control related to projects.
• Prepare and issue quotations, invoices, and work orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients for scheduling and project updates.
• Support project tracking and assist with basic procurement processes.
• Manage calls, emails and general office duties.

This dual-role position involves creating precise technical drawings for aluminium and glass structures (such as doors, gates, windows, and grilles), as well as supporting administrative functions in the office. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills, basic knowledge of construction or fabrication, and is comfortable with office administration and coordination tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

AutoCAD Drafting (70%)

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings for aluminium and glass door, gate, window, and grille installations.


• Interpret technical drawings, site measurements, and customer specifications.


• Update and revise drawings as needed based on feedback from project managers or clients.


• Liaise with fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.

Administrative Support (30%)
