Job summary

A financial consulting firm in Singapore seeks an experienced auditor to apply audit knowledge, conduct fieldwork, and draft financial statements according to Singapore standards. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and 2 to 4 years of recent auditing experience at a CPA firm. Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Apply working knowledge of all audit sections including planning, system review and audit fieldwork.
  • Carry out proper sampling procedures.
  • Obtain a thorough understanding of Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and common audit procedures and techniques.
  • Identify significant accounting and auditing issues.
  • Respond to and deal with client queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Research and analyse financial statements and audit related issues.
  • Provide quality assurance of audit file.
  • Drafting of audited financial statements in accordance with the requirement of Singapore Reporting Standards and Companies Act.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years recent work experience as an auditor at a CPA firm.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office software programs, such as MS word and MS excel.
  • Experience in caseware preferred.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and complete assignment within time constraints and deadlines.
