Audit Manager / Senior Manager (Insurance Sector)

Our client, a reputable professional services firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Audit Manager / Senior Manager (Insurance Sector) to join their Financial Services Assurance team. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing audit engagements within the insurance sector, mentoring professionals, and driving the continued growth and excellence of the practice.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee teams of professionals in delivering a broad range of assurance engagements for clients within the insurance industry.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to the long-term growth and success of the insurance practice.
  • Coach, develop, and guide team members to achieve professional and personal growth through effective supervision and mentoring.
  • Participate actively in advisory projects related to the insurance sector, offering insights and solutions to clients on industry and regulatory matters.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and quality requirements in all audit and advisory deliverables.
Requirements
  • Possess a recognised professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of external audit experience, preferably gained within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
