Job summary

The Forvis Mazars audit team in Kuala Lumpur seeks a highly motivated, independent professional to join our engagement teams, working with the Luxembourg office on international audits. You will drive resource planning, technical guidance, and high-quality delivery across engagements.

Role requires strong IFRS/ISA knowledge, leadership skills, and excellent communication to coach staff and manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification required (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international accounting firm with leading engagement teams.
• Strong IFRS and ISA knowledge and ability to apply professional judgement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and coordinate resources to deliver high-quality audits.
• Provide direction to engagement teams on complex audit matters with professional skepticism.
• Coordinate engagement delivery, monitor timelines, and communicate progress and risks.
• Lead team development, coaching, and performance reviews; manage staff performance.
• Coordinate resource planning, workload allocation and timesheet oversight.
• Oversee engagement financials including budgets, profitability, billing, and collections.
