Job summary

Sanofi Internal Audit in Singapore invites you to join the Digitalization and Data Analytics Team for a six-month internship. You will support audit missions by gathering analytics requirements, extract/transform/model data from data lakes across finance, commercial and HR, and help build dashboards for insights.

As a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Data Science, you will learn data analysis techniques, statistics, and programming (Python/SQL) while applying Power BI and other visualization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science or related field.
• Hands-on data analysis experience.
• Knowledge of Power BI and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with data lake technologies and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is appreciated.

Responsibilities

About the job

Sanofi Internal Audit (SIA) reports hierarchically to the Chief Executive Officer and functionally to the Chairwoman of the Audit Committee. SIA’s mission is to provide the Executive Committee and the Audit Committee with independent and objective reasonable assurance, regarding the Company’s ability to control its operations. SIA helps Sanofi execute its strategy and achieve business objectives by assessing and improving the effectiveness of Sanofi’s governance, risk management, and control processes. SIA commits to alert management on significant risks and to monitor their effective mitigation.

Our Team:

The Digitalization and Data Analytics Team is an expertise center within the Sanofi Internal Audit that actively contributes to the development and implementation of digitalization and data analytical activities for the global SIA team.

Main responsibilities:

• Gathering Requirements: Support audit missions and departmental digitalization projects by collecting analysis needs.
• Data Processing: Extract, transform, and model data from various data foundations/lakes including finance, commercial, and human resources.
• Data Visualization: Assist in conducting analyses and building dashboards.
• Industrialization: Standardize and industrialize analyses and assets for reuse in future audits and projects.
• Innovation & AI: Contribute to improving existing processes and explore innovative topics like AI and GenAI.
• Collaboration: Work closely with audit teams and other stakeholders.

About you

You are looking for an internship (approximately six-month), as part of your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Data Science.

Technical skills:

• Hands-on experience or knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools
• Power BI or equivalent visualization tools
• A good understanding of data lake technologies
• Knowledge of statistics and functional/programming language (e.g. M, DAX, R, Python, SQL, etc.) is appreciated.

Soft skills

• You are recognized for your good interpersonal skills and ability to adapt.
• You enjoy working in a team.
• You are curious about data and keen to learn how different business areas use it.
• Your natural appetite for the field of data allows you to easily understand the data models associated with the different areas of the company (Finance, R&D, customer relations, etc.)
