As an Audit Associate, reporting to the Audit Manager, you will:

  • Assist with audit planning and fieldwork, including research, documentation, and coordination.
  • Perform AML procedures and assist in setting up audit files using Caseware.
  • Send out confirmation and PBC requests (with oversight from senior team members).
  • Complete assigned sections of audit files such as cash, expenses, capital, investments, and realised gains/losses.
  • Prepare and maintain high‑quality audit workpapers to support audit reports.
  • Conduct testing of key controls, perform process walkthroughs, and document narratives.
  • Carry out TOT and reference checks on financial statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Learn to prepare clear and accurate Excel workings for audit testing.
  • Gain client exposure through participation in calls and collaboration with engagement teams.
