Job summary

A top auditing firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Audit Associate to perform statutory audits and prepare financial statements in compliance with local standards. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or relevant field, alongside 2-3 years of auditing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. Candidates with strong communication skills in both Mandarin and English will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in auditing practice.
• Preferably experience in Finance – Audit / Taxation or equivalent.
• Candidate who has completed all ACCA modules will be preferred.

Job description

To perform statutory audit for different type of entities (e.g. Companies, branches, MCST etc.) in accordance to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (“SFRS”) and Singapore Standards on Auditing (“SSA”).

To prepare audited financial statements in accordance with SFRS and SSA.

To prepare full tax computations and relevant schedules.

Handle accounting assignments and other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Follow up on client and engagement outstanding matters independently.

Job Requirements

• Possess a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA or other relevant bachelor's degrees will be considered.
• Candidate who started Singapore CA Qualification (f.k.a SQP Programmes) under SAC will be preferred.
• Candidate who has completed all ACCA modules will be preferred.
• Preferably experience in Finance – Audit / Taxation or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in auditing practice.
