A leading AV solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced AV Field Technician (Level 2 Support) to provide onsite and remote support for audiovisual systems. Qualifications

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AV Field Technician (Level 2 Support) to join our team. This role involves providing onsite and remote support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audiovisual systems at client locations. You will handle issues escalated from Level 1 support, assist with equipment setup, and ensure AV systems run smoothly during meetings and events.

This is a full-time onsite role, working 5.5 days per week (Monday to Saturday, with a half day on Saturday).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2 technical support for AV systems such as video conferencing, displays, projectors, and sound systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues escalated from Level 1 support, including hardware, connectivity, or configuration problems.
  • Perform regular maintenance and testing of AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in installing and setting up AV equipment including microphones, speakers, displays, and control panels.
  • Provide onsite support during meetings or events to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Coordinate with project teams on system installations or upgrades when required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, issues, and resolutions.
  • Support inventory management and coordinate repairs or RMAs when needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in AV support, field service, or a similar role.
  • Good understanding of AV systems, wiring, and basic signal flow.
  • Familiarity with common AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX) is an advantage.
  • Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and connectivity troubleshooting (IP, PoE, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks onsite.
  • Willing to travel to various client sites as required.
