Job summary

A healthcare management organization in Singapore is seeking a skilled Fire Safety and Workplace Safety Manager. You will be responsible for developing and managing fire safety plans, ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations, and supporting emergency preparedness initiatives. Ideal candidates will have at least a degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare. Strong knowledge of fire codes and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• SCDF-registered Fire Safety Manager required.
• MOM-registered WSH Officer is an added advantage.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience, ideally in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Fire Safety Management Plan.
• Ensure facilities and workflows meet WSH requirements.
• Support development of hospital-wide emergency plans.
• Liaise with SCDF, MOM, MOH for compliance and licensing.

Job description

Responsibilities

Fire Safety

• Develop and manage the Fire Safety Management Plan
• Review building designs for SCDF compliance
• Work with consultants/SCDF for approvals
• Conduct fire drills and staff training

Workplace Safety

• Ensure facilities and workflows meet WSH requirements
• Advise on layouts for high-risk areas
• Review safety controls, signage and fall-prevention
• Implement workplace safety policies

Emergency Preparedness

• Support development of hospital‑wide emergency plans
• Review infrastructure for crisis readiness
• Conduct readiness checks with design and facilities teams

Regulatory Engagement

• Liaise with SCDF, MOM, MOH for compliance and licensing
• Prepare documentation to support commissioning and approvals

Requirements

• SCDF‑registered Fire Safety Manager
• MOM‑registered WSH Officer (added advantage)
• Min. Degree with 8–10 years’ relevant experience, ideally in healthcare
• Strong knowledge of fire codes, WSH standards and emergency frameworks
