Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking a Diploma holder to join our wafer fabrication team as an engineering technician. You will support process formulations, SOPs, and quality controls, working on 12-hour rotating shifts with attention to detail.

The role requires 2 years in an electronic production environment, proficiency in MS Office, SPC knowledge, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve Manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years working experience in electronic production environment - preferably from wafer fab and, with basic equipment & process knowledge and with an eye for detail.
• Must be able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
• MS Office literate.
• SPC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards
• Create, analyze and review technical charts
• Develop and modify process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards
• Establish SOP (Standard operating process) and FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) for related process
• Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules
• Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications
• Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to improve process performance indices
• Work with cross functions teams to deliver organizational goals
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
