Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an Associate Test Technician to join our laboratory operations in Singapore. This role involves performing routine and non-routine testing assignments under direct supervision, ensuring timely and accurate results while adhering to safety, code of conduct, and company policies.

The candidate will work with the testing team to read customer specifications, set up tests, and execute tasks with supervision from Senior/Principal staff as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a testing related field.
• Proficient in laboratory safety and compliance with company rules.

Responsibilities

• Work independently at times under supervision.
• Identify daily tasks and complete them accurately and on time.
• Read and interpret customer specifications to perform tests.
• Set up and perform a variety of tests under supervision and input from senior staff.

Element has an opportunity for an Associate Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Associate Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Possess the ability to work alone periodically throughout the workday with supervision
• Understand what must be completed each workday and takes the initiative to complete those tasks properly and timely - does not need Senior/Principal Technician or management to explain what the task is.
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform the testing required
• Able to develop a proven ability to set up and perform a variety of tests according to customer specifications under the supervision and technical input of Senior/Principal

Skills/Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of laboratory safety
• 0-2 years’ experience in a testing related field
