Job summary

DBS Asia Central is seeking a Product Management professional to operate in the front office as a licensed representative of a fund manager. You will maximize fund performance through precise order execution and monitor portfolio risks while gaining exposure to construction, positioning, re-balancing, and ongoing monitoring.

You will collaborate with Finance, Risk and Compliance to align approaches with global controls, and ensure NAV accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related discipline; at least 2 years in finance.
• Aptitude with numbers, spreadsheets and problem solving.
• Product knowledge in Fixed Income, Equity and Derivatives.
• Independent with good communication and coordination skills.
• Prepared to lead operational improvements and change.
• Proficient in Excel and automation tools (VBA, Python).
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Operate in the front office as a licensed representative of a fund manager
• Maximize fund performance with the best execution of orders in an accurate and efficient manner
• Monitor risks in the portfolio
• Gain exposure to portfolio construction, positioning, re-balancing and monitoring
• Support all aspects of risk and control environments
• Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Risk and Compliance) to ensure approach is consistent with global practices for controls, oversight, risk and portfolio management
• Ensure the accuracy of the Net Asset Value
• Assist in corporate action election and in ad hoc tasks, where necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in a related discipline with at least 2 years of experience in the finance space and some product knowledge in Fixed Income, Equity and Derivatives.
• An understanding in fund structures will be an advantage. Candidates who have an aptitude to numbers, spreadsheets and problem solving, are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Independent, with good communication and coordination skills
• Prepared to lead operational improvements and change
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with automation tools (e.g. VBA, Python, etc.) would be an advantage
