The Role: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dynamic Associate, Social Media Content & Live-Streaming to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for the growth of our social media channels that supports live-streaming activities, as well as the seamless execution and management of our luxury resale live-streaming operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for luxury fashion, and possesses strong administrative and technical skills.
Live Stream Execution and Coordination
- Manage the end-to-end logistics for all scheduled live stream events, ensuring timely setup and tear down.
- Coordinate with the retail store team on curation of items to be featured in each live stream event. Ensure featured items are ready, correctly priced, and accurately represented before each live stream.
- Perform pre-stream technical checks, including audio, video, lighting, and internet connectivity, to guarantee high-quality broadcasts.
- Monitor and manage the streaming platform (e.g., TikTok Live, Instagram Live) during broadcasts, including pinning of products, answering questions posed during live stream and managing backend order operations.
- Use AI-powered tools to enhance Livestream preparation and execution (e.g., generating item descriptions, summarising livestream highlights, or speeding up product tagging).
Inventory and Data Management
- Accurately track all items presented during the live stream, cross-referencing against internal inventory management system.
- Process real-time sales transactions generated during the stream and ensure seamless hand-off to the fulfillment team.
- Maintain detailed logs of stream performance, including audience engagement metrics, items presented, and sales conversion data.
- Handle post-stream administrative tasks, such as updating inventory status, reconciling sales figures, and preparing reports.
Technical and Operational Support
- Manage and maintain live stream equipment (cameras, microphones, computers, lighting rigs).
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues independently and **escalate** complex issues to the IT/Technical team promptly.
- Organize and maintain the live stream studio space, ensuring a clean, professional, and luxury-appropriate aesthetic.
Social Media Content Support
- Work closely with the Division’s Social Media Content team to ideate and create content for the respective social media accounts that supports live streaming activities.
- Use AI tools to support content creation (e.g., caption drafts, trend discovery, script refinement, video cut suggestions).
- Generate branding, educational and product feature content that can grow our account’s following and engagement and to position the account as a first-to-mind for live-streaming events
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in social media operations, live-streaming, e-commerce operations, content creation, or related digital marketing roles.
- Strong operational discipline, able to manage fast-moving livestream workflows, logistics, and backend processes with accuracy and speed.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., retail store, content, operations, fulfillment).
- Solid understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and other livestream platforms, including features like pinning, tagging, and engagement moderation.
- Comfortable navigating inventory systems, sales operations, and data tracking with high attention to detail.
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities (audio, lighting, connectivity, basic streaming setup) with the ability to resolve minor issues independently.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI-powered tools for content drafting, item description generation, pre-stream preparation, captioning, and workflow efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong sense of brand tone suitable for luxury audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, especially during peak livestream seasons.
- Highly organized with strong administrative skills, capable of maintaining tight logs, records, and execution checklists.
- A keen interest in luxury fashion, resale culture, and social media trends.
- A proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset, comfortable experimenting with tools and suggesting improvements.
- Ability to work some evenings or weekends depending on livestream schedules.
