Associate/Senior Associate | Trade Support

Join our Operations division, which provides independent verification, confirmation, booking, and settlement facilities for various products and currencies across Macquarie's global businesses. This division plays a key role in risk management and control culture within wholesale banking.

What role will you play?

You will support the Equity Trading and Derivatives business from the trading floor, handling listed and unlisted equity products across Australia, Asia, EMEA, and the US.

Your responsibilities include ensuring timely completion of daily tasks such as trade booking, lifecycle management, corporate actions, controls, and reconciliation investigations. You will resolve issues raised by stakeholders across products and markets, using problem-solving skills.

You will also contribute to process automation, participate in projects and testing, and support operational improvements.

What you offer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in investment banking, preferably in middle office or trade processing
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across levels
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Alteryx, Power Automate, and PowerBI is advantageous
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
