A global financial services group is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in Legal Entity Control and Regulatory Reporting. This role includes preparing full year accounts, ensuring financial regulatory compliance, and identifying process enhancements. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in financial accounting and strong analytical skills. Emphasis on stakeholder communication and proficiency in Excel or Power BI is required. Join our dynamic Financial Management, People and Engagement Group, working closely with stakeholders managing the financial affairs and regulatory reporting obligations of Macquarie’s licensed entities.

You will be responsible for the preparation of full year accounts for regulated legal entities, monitoring of daily regulatory ratios and preparation of regulatory returns for submission to the external regulators, whilst ensuring integrity of financial information. You will assist with projects and associated activities such as identifying operational process enhancements, automation and implementing changes to reporting requirements. You will apply your sharp finance and accounting acumen to understand and apply rules, interpretations, and assumptions around regulatory requirements, and ensure regulatory obligations are accurately completed and lodged on a timely basis.
