Are you interested in joining the LEGO India and Emerging Asia Markets business, and working closely with a dedicated team to build the LEGO Brand by delivering the ultimate brand experience through LEGO Certified Stores?

Bring your expertise in retail marketing to help us deliver the ambitious growth plans in the IEA LEGO Branded Channels business. We are opening new LEGO Certified Stores across five markets, which presents a unique and exciting opportunity to bring the LEGO experience to many new consumers!

No relocation assistance is provided for this role.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead, plan and implement audience-focus campaign plan for LEGO Store including annual retail marketing plan, instore merchandising, promotions and instore activities based on seasonal, product launch and unique occasions aligned with the annual business plan.

  • Drive and lead new store opening planning and store refits by participating as project team member for such projects and looking after store designs, fixtures, and installations

  • Work closely with internal functions (i.e., marketing team/operations team) and external collaborators (i.e., LCS partners, IP partners, vendors) to get full alignment on the marketing campaigns and leverage the local, regional and global resources.

  • The scope of the role covers five markets – India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam and will require travel to these markets and close collaboration with all associated teams

  • Pro-actively manage key assets to LEGO Branded Channel (i.e., GWPs, Makes and Takes, LEL) ensuring optimal usage

  • Deliver effective communication with our external partners ensuring all the retail marketing activities are implemented as planned.

  • Report to General Manager and work collaboratively within the LEGO IEA Branded Channels team

The Branded channel business (LEGO Certified Stores) plays a critical role in the LEGO group to deliver inspirational experience to shopper and consumer, and is also strategically important channel to grow our business in terms of both commercial and further brand building in the India and Emerging Asia markets.

Our ambition is to build uniquely branded and experiential retail experiences and deliver our strong brand value to shopper/consumer. You will lead the development of unique and powerful experience in LEGO Store by collaborating with our external partners and cross-functional teams.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience of retail marketing/trade marketing/shopper marketing in the consumer/branded products.

  • The ideal candidate will not only possess the marketing field experience but general knowledge of retail business and sales.

  • Proactive, self-driving and strong leadership skills to drive the business agenda in the team.

  • Highly organised, details-focused with the ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to build strong relationship with cross-functional and external partners by creating collaborative environment.

  • Experience supporting the relevant markets would be highly beneficial, though not a prerequisite.
