Job summary

A community charity organization in Singapore is seeking an Associate Psychologist to support its Triage Team. About the role

Clarity Singapore Limited is looking for an Associate Psychologist to join its Triage Team in service of the charity’s beneficiaries within the community.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist in management and assessment of routine psychological cases, applying Mental State examination assessments, suicide and safety risk evaluations, triages and case formulations
  • Provide structured brief intervention and routine psychological intervention under supervision
  • Delivery of psychological programmes and services
  • Delivery of psychoeducation programmes to clients and caregivers
  • Adhere to professional policies and procedures for professional practice
  • Any ad-hoc tasks and projects in relation to Clarity’s programmes and services as directed by the Executive Director
Requirements
  • Degree with Honours in Psychology/Social Work or Masters in Counselling. Relevant work experience with mental health clients preferred. Fresh graduates with volunteer/internship experience in mental health sectors may also apply.
  • Confident, proactive, and passionate team player with a heart for community work
  • Prior work or voluntary experience working with persons with mental health issues
