About the role
Clarity Singapore Limited is looking for an Associate Psychologist to join its Triage Team in service of the charity’s beneficiaries within the community.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in management and assessment of routine psychological cases, applying Mental State examination assessments, suicide and safety risk evaluations, triages and case formulations
- Provide structured brief intervention and routine psychological intervention under supervision
- Delivery of psychological programmes and services
- Delivery of psychoeducation programmes to clients and caregivers
- Adhere to professional policies and procedures for professional practice
- Any ad-hoc tasks and projects in relation to Clarity’s programmes and services as directed by the Executive Director
Requirements
- Degree with Honours in Psychology/Social Work or Masters in Counselling. Relevant work experience with mental health clients preferred. Fresh graduates with volunteer/internship experience in mental health sectors may also apply.
- Confident, proactive, and passionate team player with a heart for community work
- Prior work or voluntary experience working with persons with mental health issues
- Dynamic and resourceful team player
- Ability to work independently in the challenging community environment
- Passionate about community recovery work and rehabilitation
- Good communications and organisational skills
- Effectively bilingual
