Job summary

A leading staffing firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified candidate to operate and maintain chemical processing equipment in a pilot-scale manufacturing environment. The role requires experience in the semiconductor or chemical industries and a diploma in relevant engineering. Candidates with a valid driving license are preferred. Normal working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing/Production experience in Semicon/Chemical/Oil&Gas/Food industry required.
  • Diploma/Higher NITEC in relevant engineering is mandatory.
  • Driving/motorbike license is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all machinery and tools are clean before starting a batch.
  • Follow instructions on the Production Order for correct production.
  • Adjustments or dilutions as directed by the lab.
  • Pick materials and pack finished products as specified.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues.
  • Maintain a clean work area and use PPE properly.

Role Overview

Responsible for operating and maintaining chemical processing and support equipment, ensuring smooth production workflows, safety compliance, and quality control in a pilot‑scale manufacturing environment.

Core Duties
  • Ensuring all machinery and tools are clean before starting a batch to prevent contamination.
  • Following instructions on the Production Order to select the correct components, equipment, and production cycle.
  • Performing any necessary adjustments or dilutions as directed by the lab.
  • Picking materials from the warehouse and packing finished products as specified.
  • Assisting in resolving any operational issues.
  • Keeping your work area clean and ensuring proper use of PPE.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma / Higher NITEC in chemical / manufacturing / mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Manufacturing/Production experience in Semicon/Chemical/Oil&Gas/Food industry
  • Diploma / Higher NITEC in chemical / manufacturing / mechanical
  • With driving / motorbike license will be a plus
  • Wiling to work at tuas south
  • Normal day shift mon to friday 8am to 4.30pm
