ECO 181 – Introduction to Macroeconomics

This course provides an overview of the fundamentaleconomic principles andeconomic measures used to evaluate theeconomy, such as gross domestic product, the inflation rate, the unemployment rate, and federal deficits. The course examines how theeconomy functions, what causeseconomic difficulties, and the policies that are used to improve the functioning of theeconomy. This course may be taken independently of ECO182.
