Job summary

The Singapore Institute of Management is seeking a qualified educator to facilitate student discussions and deliver weekly virtual lectures in emerging technologies. The role includes designing assessment rubrics, grading assignments, and providing timely student support within a collaborative teaching team.

Candidates should hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of tertiary teaching experience; five years of related work experience would be an advantage.

• Conduct weekly virtual lecture or workshop

• Respond to student enquiries in a timely manner
• Provide learning support through individual or small group consultation
• Prepare marking samples and module report with analysis of student performance

This module intends to raise students’ awareness about trending technologies that are impacting businesses today. Four emerging areas covered are digital transformation, connectivity technologies, intelligence technologies and business transformation. For each of the areas, students go through the key developments as well as the role big data plays in facilitating the adoption of these technologies.
