TMI Associates (Singapore) LLP is the Singapore branch of TMI Associates which is one of the biggest law firms in Japan. We mainly support Japanese clients in their business activities and investments in South‑East Asia countries as well as foreign clients in their business activities and investments in Japan.

We are looking for a foreign lawyer who is highly motivated and able to work in our team as an associate. The responsibilities and requirements for our job are as follows:

Responsibilities
  • Supporting foreign clients in their business activities and investments in Japan
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts in connection with our foreign clients’ business activities and investments in Japan;
  • Providing legal advice in connection with our foreign clients’ business activities and investments in Japan;
  • Conducting legal research for Japanese law matters;
  • Supporting Japanese clients in their business activities and investments in South‑East Asia countries; and
  • Liaising with our Japanese clients and local lawyers.
Requirements
  • Recognized degree in law;
  • Admitted to practice law;
  • Knowledge and experience in legal matters and business practices in Japan; and
  • 7-10 years PQE as an attorney.
