Role Overview

The Investment Associate will support the senior investment team members in origination, evaluation, execution, syndication, and monitoring of private credit and growth debt investments. The role demands strong analytical skills, financial modeling capability, an understanding of due diligence for structured credit, and legal documentation.

Transaction Evaluation & Execution
  • Support end-to-end execution of private credit and growth debt transactions.
  • Build detailed financial models and sensitivity analyses to assess deal feasibility and risk-return profiles.
  • Assist in evaluating credit risks such as leverage, liquidity, collateral, and cash flow stability.
  • Conduct due diligence across financial, business, and legal workstreams.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees.
  • Liaise with legal counsel to review and negotiate term sheets, loan agreements, and security.
Origination Support
  • Conduct market and sector research to identify new lending opportunities.
  • Track borrower and sponsor activity to support origination pipeline development.
  • Assist senior team members in relationship management with borrowers, intermediaries, and co-lenders.
Portfolio Monitoring
  • Track portfolio company performance through financial analysis, covenant monitoring, and management interactions.
  • Update internal dashboards, credit reviews, and investor reports.
  • Flag early warning signals and propose mitigation measures.
Internal Coordination
  • Collaborate with legal, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance with internal processes.
  • Contribute to fund reporting, investor updates, and portfolio reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in private credit, venture debt, investment banking, or structured finance.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and credit analysis.
  • Strong grasp of capital structures, security packages, and transaction documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and communication skills.
