Job summary

GIC Private Limited, based in Singapore, seeks an Infrastructure Associate on a 3-year fixed-term contract. You will evaluate and execute infrastructure investments, supporting origination through portfolio ownership, and collaborate with teams across Asia and Australia.

Strong financial modelling, advanced MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a data-driven approach are essential. You will build relationships with counterparties, report on investments, and participate in strategic initiatives

Responsibilities

What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a collaborative team that invests in infrastructure companies with stable and predictable cash flows, long-term inflation protection, and reasonable risk-adjusted returns. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to investment decisions and support transactions from origination through to portfolio ownership.

What will you do as an Infrastructure Associate?

We are looking for curious minds and hard-working professionals to join us as an Associate in the Infrastructure team on a 3-year fixed-term contract (with full employment terms and benefits). As part of the Singapore-based Infrastructure team, you will work closely with colleagues to identify and manage infrastructure investment opportunities and existing portfolio companies across Asia and Australia.

• Evaluating and executing new Infrastructure investments.
• Preparing and presenting quantitative and qualitative evaluation to the investment committee.
• Establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with counterparties and potential investee companies.
• Managing and reporting on assigned investments, for example, supporting GIC representatives at investor and board meetings, engaging with management and other investors regularly, and contributing to strategic initiatives with investee companies.
• Participate in special projects as assigned from time to time (for example, developing new analytical systems or conducting market mapping of industries).

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• You bring a deep curiosity to learn, impeccable work ethic, a strong sense of integrity, and a collaborative, team-first approach. You are motivated to grow as an investment professional and contribute to a culture that values diverse perspectives and continuous improvement.
• Ideally at least [2] years of relevant work experience in an investment bank or a buyside firm, preferably covering Infrastructure / Real Assets investing.
• Strong financial modelling skills and sound commercial judgement, with an inherent interest in working with data and numbers to inform meaningful outcomes.
• Advanced skills in writing, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
