Job summary

PEOPLE PROFILERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Associate Equipment Engineer to support the Molding process and ensure high equipment availability for production in Singapore.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Daiichi mold machines while providing 12-hour shift coverage. The role requires a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of hands-on equipment maintenance experience, with strong problem-solving and independence during shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of practical equipment maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with Daiichi Mold machines is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and machine repair skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts including day and night shifts.
• Ability to work independently during shift operations and make timely decisions during breakdowns.
• Good problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
• Knowledge of tooling design and maintenance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Molding process and ensure high equipment availability and production support.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on molding equipment as per schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair Daiichi mold equipment during breakdowns.
• Provide 12-hour shift equipment support for mold production.
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and machine availability.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and reliability.
• Document equipment breakdowns, PM activities, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production and Process Engineering to resolve equipment issues.
• Support mold setup, qualification, and equipment release for production.

Job description

• We are looking for an Associate Equipment Engineer (AE) to support the Molding process and ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and production support.
  The engineer will be responsible for equipment troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement activities for Molding machines
  Provide 12-hour shift equipment support forMold production. Troubleshoot and repair Daiichi mold equipment during equipment breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections according to the established schedule.
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support Daiichi mold machine setup, qualification, and equipment release for production.
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and machine availability.
• Support continuous improvement activities to improve equipment OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and machine reliability.
• Maintain proper documentation of equipment breakdowns, PM activities, and corrective actions.
• Work closely with Production and Process Engineering to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Support both day and night shifts according to the production manpower schedule.
• Shift Support: Willing and able to support12-hour rotating shifts, including both day and night shifts.
• Production Support: Able to respond quickly to mold equipment breakdowns and minimize productiond owntime.
• Mold Support: Able to perform Daiichi mold machine setup, troubleshooting, preventive
• maintenance,recovery, and equipment qualification.
• Technical Skills: Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mold equipment-related problems.
• Equipment Experience: Hands-on experience with Daiichi mold equipment is highly preferred.
