Job summary

ASE Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a technically capable individual to provide production and engineering support for backend equipment in our Singapore facility.

Key duties include setting up conversions for production use, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime, and contributing to equipment improvement initiatives. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, with a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Good communications and analytical problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide production and engineering support for backend equipment.
• Set up conversions of backend equipment for production use.
• Perform setup, repairs and maintenance of backend equipment such as laser marker, vision scanner, Tape & Reel platform.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration on schedule.
• Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects.

• Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime
• Perform routine equipment preventive maintenance / calibration on timely basis
• Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably with minimum 1 year relevant experience in semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of basic equipment troubleshooting
• Good communications and analytical problem solving skills
