Job summary

ZERO-ERROR SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Associate Engineer to support hardware/software installation, prototyping, troubleshooting, testing and product logistics for hi-reliability semiconductors.

You will set up and maintain hardware, run functional and reliability tests, and work with a multidisciplinary engineering team on hardware validation and product qualification in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics or related).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on engineering experience in electronics, embedded systems, or semiconductor environments.
• Hands-on experience with PCB soldering, schematic/PCB layout, prototyping and functional testing.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators/analyzers.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware, software, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across hardware and software domains.
• Interest in microchip-based hardware and hands-on engineering work.
• Good team player with clear communication and results focus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain electronic hardware, test platforms, equipment, and software for product development and testing.
• Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing to verify product functionality.
• Assist with troubleshooting and failure analysis during development and verification.
• Collaborate with engineering on hardware testing, verification, and qualification activities.

Associate Engineer

About the Role

Zero-Error Systems (ZES) is seeking an Associate Engineer to support engineering team on electronic/semiconductor hardware/software installation, product prototyping, troubleshooting, testing and product logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain electronic hardware, test platforms, equipment, and software for product development and testing.
• Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing to verify the functionality and performance of ZES products.
• Assist with troubleshooting and failure analysis during product development and verification.
• Work closely with the engineering team on hardware testing, verification, and product qualification activities.
• Maintain test data, engineering records, technical documentation, and laboratory equipment.
• Support the logistics, inventory, maintenance, and delivery of engineering equipment, components, and products.

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical/ElectronicsEngineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience, preferably in electronics, embedded systems, or semiconductor-related environments.
• Hands-on experience with PCB soldering, schematic/PCB layout, inspection, prototyping, and functional testing.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators/analyzers.
• Basic knowledge of electronic hardware, software, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software platforms.
• Interest in microchip-based hardware and hands-on engineering work.
