Job summary

Beca is seeking an Associate Director – Mechanical to lead MEP delivery within our Building Services team in Singapore. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, oversee design and technical quality, and ensure successful project outcomes for diverse clients.

The role requires a strong consultancy background with a proactive, client-focused mindset, strong leadership, and the ability to balance technical excellence with commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Experienced engineer with a consulting background and track record delivering complex projects.
• Strong leadership skills with client engagement and delivery focus.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate design outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive MEP project delivery excellence (Mechanical Lead) across multiple complex projects.
• Lead and influence multidisciplinary project teams, providing technical leadership and governance.
• Translate engineering principles into practical, commercially viable solutions balancing cost, time and quality.
• Act as a trusted client adviser, maintaining strong relationships and understanding business drivers.
• Represent the business externally with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Take accountability for project risk and performance with sound technical and financial judgement.
• Understand and manage impact of engineering decisions on cost, programme and profitability.
• Demonstrate strong consulting, communication and networking capability.

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) accreditation in Singapore
