A healthcare consulting firm in Singapore seeks an Associate Director for Provider and Payer Insights to lead business development initiatives. This role involves advising clients on strategy and operational transformation while fostering collaboration within the team. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in healthcare consulting and strong stakeholder management skills, with the goal of delivering sustainable revenue growth and market presence.
Actively contribute to the company’s vision, business and people strategy and objectives
Support the setting and achievement of practice and global financial goals; drive delivery excellence and reputation-building for Vista Health across markets
Translate strategic direction into tangible workstreams, partnerships and initiatives for clients in APAC and globally, with an emphasis on provider and payer impact and growth
Engage in reputation building, thought leadership, and marketing of Vista Health
Foster a culture of trust and excellence, maintaining high ethical standards in all engagements
Lead and execute business development initiatives by identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients, contributing to sustainable revenue growth and market presence
Identify and secure client opportunities, lead generation and proposal development, and deliver against revenue goals
Explore new markets and geographic regions with growth potential for Vista Health’s services
Shape and evolve practice offerings to meet evolving client needs
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through process optimisation and automation
Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to leverage complementary strengths and expand market reach
Ideate and plan practice area solutions and methodology development at the global level
Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of reports, white papers, workshops, and stakeholder forums that showcase your and our thought leadership on key topics
Monitor global trends in strategy and operations and integrate these into our approach and strategic planning
Grow business with clients, build new client relationships and generate new business with key clients across hospitals/health systems, digital health, pharma and MedTech
Provide expert advice to clients; act as a senior advisor on strategy, insights and operational transformation
Represent Vista Health in industry forums and convenings across APAC to strengthen our presence and cross-stakeholder collaboration
Responsibility for the generation and achievement of agreed business targets
Drive business development
Conduct key competitor analysis and monitoring
Provide enhanced financial awareness and commercial know-how
Oversee project delivery and operational infrastructure, ensuring quality outcomes and efficient use of shared Vista Health resources
Advise healthcare clients on strategy, growth, and transformation initiatives
Support initiatives related to value-based care, population health, and alternative payment models
Conduct market assessments, payer-provider partnership analyses, and competitive benchmarking
Develop business cases, operating models, and multiyear roadmaps
Advise on initiatives to improve care delivery efficiency, cost structures, and quality outcomes
Lead analysis of revenue cycle, utilization management, network performance, and medical cost drivers
Support payer initiatives such as claims optimization, care management, risk adjustment, and provider contracting
Assist providers with service line optimization, workforce productivity, and clinical operations redesign
Help clients to translate healthcare data into actionable insights using claims, clinical, and operational datasets
Support implementation or optimization of health IT systems (e.g., EHRs, analytics platforms interoperability solutions)
Assist clients in leveraging AI, automation, and digital health solutions responsibly
Monitor and interpret healthcare policies, regulatory changes, and reimbursement rules
Assess impact of government programs and payer regulations on provider and payer strategies
Support compliance, governance, and risk management initiatives
Work cross-functionally with clinicians, administrators, actuaries, IT teams, and executives
Facilitate workshops, executive presentations, and decision-making forums
Support change management, communication, and capability-building efforts
Serve as a subject matter expert to the team and to clients
Ensure consistent delivery excellence and knowledge reuse across geographies and accounts
Engage with clients and with internal teams
Support in the planning, organizing, and managing of resource needs
Provide coaching and performance management for team members
Identify talent key to business growth to support the global business
Support retention programmes specific to high-level performers
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability
Invest in talent development and create opportunities for others to grow and develop
Monitor performance and objectives
8+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, payer organizations, provider systems, or health tech
Demonstrated consulting or advisory experience with both provider and payer stakeholders, with client-facing delivery experience
Exposure to value-based care, population health, or healthcare financial models is highly desirable
Strong understanding of provider and payer operating models
Working knowledge of reimbursement structures (fee-for-service, value-based, capitation, bundled payments)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills
Ability to synthesize complex data into executive-level insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage teams, generate revenue opportunities and lead consulting project work delivery
Excellent leadership, accountability, client focus, technical knowledge and critical thinking skills required
Comfortable working in a high-energy small team environment and able to work well under pressure with a proactive outlook
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and adaptable approach suited to a shared-resourcing model
Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

Bachelor’s (or higher) in Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science or related field; advanced degrees (MBA or equivalent) desirable
Experience with claims, clinical, or population health data
Familiarity with healthcare systems in APAC / SEA
Experience supporting digital health, analytics, or AI-driven initiatives
