Job summary

Hoffman is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee APAC finance operations, reporting, planning, and controls. You will partner with regional leadership to translate strategic priorities into financial plans and KPIs, elevate finance as a strategic partner, and drive governance, ERP adoption, and performance insights across multiple markets.

The role requires strong FP&A, reporting, and accounting expertise, with experience leading regional finance teams, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • Degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Professional accounting qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
  • Experience in multinational or regional environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee financial operations, reporting, planning, controls, and business partnering across APAC.
  • Build on the existing finance foundation and strengthen governance and reporting discipline.
  • Elevate finance from operational support to proactive strategic business partnership for market and regional leadership.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, accounting, and FP&A for the APAC business.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and financial analysis.
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional and market finance teams across APAC.
  • Implement and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls for accounting, tax, and corporate finance compliance.
  • Partner with leadership to translate priorities into financial plans, KPIs, and insights.
  • Conduct reviews to identify risks, opportunities, profitability drivers, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Liaise with global finance on consolidation, treasury, tax planning, and centralized finance.
  • Provide strategic financial insight and decision support to improve performance.
  • Lead adoption and optimization of the new global ERP system across APAC.
  • Strengthen the finance operating model with scalable processes and consistent standards across markets.

  • Build on the existing finance foundation and strengthen regional governance and reporting discipline
  • Elevate Finance from operational support to proactive strategic business partnership for market and regional leadership
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, accounting, and FP&A for the Asia Pacific business
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and financial analysis
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional and market finance teams across APAC
  • Implement and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls for accounting, tax, and corporate finance compliance
  • Partner with market and regional leadership to translate operational and strategic priorities into financial plans, KPIs, and performance insights
  • Conduct financial and operational reviews to identify risks, improvement opportunities, profitability drivers, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Liaise with global finance on consolidation alignment, treasury management, tax planning, and centralized finance functions
  • Provide strategic financial insight and decision support to improve business performance
  • Lead adoption and ongoing optimization of the new global ERP system across APAC
  • Strengthen the finance operating model through scalable processes, improved team capability, and consistent standards across markets
  • Report to the CFO and EVP of Global Operations
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of finance, accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls
  • Proven leadership skills and maturity to coach, develop, and empower finance teams across multiple markets
  • Strong understanding of agency business drivers, client profitability, utilization, pricing, revenue recognition, and commercial performance
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear insights, recommendations, and actions for senior stakeholders
  • Candidates with industry knowledge of public communications (PR), integrated marketing communications (IMC), digital, and AI have an added advantage
  • Change-management mindset with ability to improve processes, embed controls, and drive system adoption across markets
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification is preferred
  • Minimum of eight to ten years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Experience preferably within a multinational or regional environment
  • Proven experience leading and developing finance teams across multiple markets
  • Proven FP&A, reporting, financial analysis, and business partnering capability
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with finance system implementation or ERP adoption is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English and preferably other regional languages
  • Experience working in the Asia Pacific region is a MUST
