Job description
What the role is:

Science Centre Singapore is dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science & technology through imaginative and enjoyable experiences, and to contribute to the nation's development of its human resource.

We are seeking a creative and driven Associate, Digital Communications & Marketing to join our team.

The successful candidate will develop and execute digital campaigns to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. This role involves crafting compelling brand narratives, managing social media platforms, and producing high‑quality content to grow audiences and drive customer interaction across marketing and corporate communications.

What you will be working on:

As an Associate, Digital Communications & Marketing, your responsibilities include the following:

  • Brand Storytelling & Content Creation

You will be responsible for developing consistent brand narratives and creating engaging copies across social media, websites, email marketing, and digital ads. This includes producing visual assets like images, graphics, and short‑form videos (e.g., Reels, GIFs) while ensuring all content is optimized for platform best practices and target audience preferences.

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution

Planning, executing, and managing end‑to‑end digital marketing campaigns will be central to this role. You will manage paid advertising on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, optimizing content reach through boosted posts. Continuous monitoring of KPIs such as CTR, engagement, and conversion rates will be necessary, with real‑time adjustments to improve campaign performance.

  • Social Media & Community Management

Managing the daily social media presence (both organic and paid) will involve developing interactive campaigns, fostering community engagement, and tracking social media trends. The role also includes maintaining corporate social media protocols and supporting crisis communications when needed.

  • Platform & Analytics Management

Using tools like Meta Business Suite and Hootsuite, you will schedule and publish content while analysing data from Google Analytics and platform insights. Synthesising performance metrics will be essential to inform future strategy, ensuring campaigns align with broader marketing and corporate goals.

  • Project Management & Cross‑Functional Coordination

You will manage digital campaign projects from start to finish, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. Key responsibilities include developing integrated content calendars, ensuring efficient workflows, and conducting post‑campaign reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with 2‑4 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management and data analysis, with exposure to corporate communications.

The position requires proven experience in executing successful social media campaigns with measurable outcomes and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of social media algorithms and engagement strategies. Essential skills include proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro), and paid advertising platforms (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads). Exceptional writing and editing abilities, data‑driven analytical skills, and experience adapting corporate narratives for digital audiences whilst maintaining consistent brand voice are required.

This role requires someone who combines creativity and analytical skills to develop compelling content and transform data into actionable insights. Candidates must demonstrate excellent time management, self‑motivation, and the ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments whilst maintaining quality standards. Strong relationship‑building skills, teamwork abilities, and flexibility to handle various communications assignments are essential.

Candidates with more years of experience may be considered for the Senior Associate role.
