Job summary

Rakuten Viki, based in Singapore, is seeking a data/platform engineer to advance its data platform architecture and build scalable ingestion, processing, storage and consumption pipelines. You willDiagnose issues across data systems and improve performance and SLAs while upholding engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in Data/Backend/SRE/Platform Engineering

Responsibilities

• Advance data platform architecture and capabilities
• Translate pipelines into reusable, scalable data pipelines and frameworks
• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data systems
• Improve and maintain correctness, performance, SLAs and architecture integrity
• Uphold data engineering practices: clean code, automation testing, CI/CD, logging, monitoring
• Participate in code reviews and maintain development guidelines
