We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Associate Corporate Banking Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, direct and control all aspects of business with a portfolio of Corporate Banking customers within Corporate & Institutional Banking
  • Have responsibility to increase the portfolio income contribution and market share by originating new business, maximizing wallet share from the portfolio, increasing cross‑introduction of the bank's entire suite of products and services, as well as defending existing business
  • Assist Senior Corporate Banking Manager holding complex relationships to manage multi‑jurisdiction relationships and provide superior quality service to position HSBC as the market leader in the segment
  • Deepen understanding of the client portfolio by conducting pro‑active credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews
  • Manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle by identifying, assessing, monitoring, escalating, and mitigating risk
  • Keep abreast of developments, products and offerings from HSBC, competitors, and market changes
  • Understand HSBC’s commitments to sustainable growth and engage customers in their ESG journey and supporting them in becoming sustainable businesses
Qualifications
  • Degree holder with a Finance, Business or Accountancy background
  • Minimally 2 years of relevant experience in a front‑line credit marketing role
  • Ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services
  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
  • Good commercial lending, risk assessment, trade finance experience
  • Ability to interact with business customers at all levels with excellent interpersonal and presentation skill along with organizational skills
  • Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions
  • Cohesive team player who possesses a positive attitude
