Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Consultant or Associate Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon to join the Vascular Surgery team at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in Singapore.

As part of the Department of General Surgery, the Vascular Surgery team leads a multidisciplinary team of nurses and allied health professionals to provide holistic and comprehensive care to patients with vascular diseases. All aspects of patient management are catered for, from non-invasive diagnostic investigative modalities to both endovascular and open surgical management as well as specialised wound care and rehabilitation.

The Vascular Service manages the entire spectrum of vascular disease. As well as the common vascular pathologies of peripheral vascular disease, aortic disease, venous disease and carotid stenoses, you would also be expected to manage vascular trauma and renal access as well as be an integral part of the complex Diabetic Foot Ulcer Multi-Disciplinary Team.

The Vascular Surgery team enjoys the use of state-of-the-art facilities including a purpose-built hybrid operating theatre as well as a non-invasive Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory staffed by dedicated Vascular Technologists. There is an operating list available every day of the week and the hybrid operating theatre is available 24/7 for any and all emergencies. You would be expected to see and manage vascular problems in both elective and emergency patients on a dedicated vascular on-call rota.

Job Requirements
  1. MBBS or equivalent and a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. FRCS, MMed) registrable with Singapore Medical Council and Specialist Accreditation Board
  2. Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
