What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of GIC’s internal investment function where we award investment directives to external fund managers whose ability complements our own capabilities. We are looking for a suitable candidate to join us as a Business Support Analyst on a 1 year contract.

What will you do as an Associate, Business Support Analyst (Contract)?
Data Management
  • Demonstrates proficiency in handling and managing large datasets.
  • Ensures data integrity and accuracy through effective data scrubbing and cleaning processes.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights to support decision-making.
System Testing
  • Conducts comprehensive system testing to verify the proper functioning of data systems and analytical tools.
  • Develops and executes detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts in accordance with established standards.
  • Identifies, documents, and monitors defects and issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborates effectively with IT and development teams to address system-related matters.
  • Confirms that system enhancements and updates align with defined business requirements and quality standards.
Project Work
  • Demonstrates experience in managing and executing projects from initiation through completion.
  • Designs and streamlines processes while maintaining alignment with project objectives and organizational goals.
  • Coordinates effectively with diverse stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Exhibits strong organizational, planning, and time management capabilities to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
Administrative Support
  • Provides administrative assistance to support the efficient operation of the team.
  • Manages documentation, scheduling, and coordination of meetings and project-related activities in an organized and timely manner.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in financial databases.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets effectively.
