Job summary

Fuku in Singapore is seeking a finance professional to manage daily operations and regulatory reporting for securities and capital markets activities, aligned with MAS rules.

You will support month-end close, prepare tax filings, and liaise with auditors while handling ad-hoc projects in a fast-paced environment. A strong accounting background and knowledge of bonds, securities, and derivatives are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in audit, financial reporting or regulatory reporting.
• Good understanding of MAS regulatory requirements for CMS licensees.
• Knowledge of bonds, securities and derivatives.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• Perform daily finance operations and regulatory BAU, including journal entries, bank and broker reconciliations, client money segregation and risk-based capital computation.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Prepare and submit regulatory and tax filings, including MAS returns, GST returns and Corporate Income Tax returns.
• Liaise with external auditor and tax consultants for audit and tax matters.
• Support other finance-related ad-hoc assignments as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in audit, financial reporting and/or regulatory reporting for a securities or capital markets firm.
• Good understanding of MAS regulatory requirements applicable to Capital Markets Services (CMS) licensees.
• Good understanding of financial products relating to bonds, securities and derivatives
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
