Job summary

Singlife invites an AI Engineer Associate to join the AI Platform Engineering team in Singapore. You will build and test AI-powered solutions on AWS, contributing to Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Document Intelligence initiatives.

You will gain hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, Textract, OpenSearch, and API-driven architecture while delivering secure, scalable, enterprise-grade AI solutions within Singlife’s AI Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of software or AI engineering experience building AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on Python with clean, testable code.
• Some experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, or AI services).
• Understanding of REST API development (FastAPI, Flask).
• Familiarity with GenAI concepts: LLMs, RAG, embeddings and vector stores.

Responsibilities

• Build AI applications, APIs, and reusable components using AWS AI and cloud-native services.
• Develop Generative AI capabilities and AI workflow automation.
• Support Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using enterprise knowledge sources.
• Build document processing solutions using OCR and document intelligence technologies.
• Ensure integration with enterprise APIs and downstream systems; maintain Python services.
