Job summary

HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte Limited invites applications for an Associate, Actuarial Services. This role is part of the Par & Universal Life Fund Management and Experience Studies team, supporting experience monitoring, assumption setting, impact testing, and fund management for universal life products.

You will help deliver monthly and quarterly management information to internal stakeholders, assist in ad-hoc actuarial projects, and coordinate onboarding of new products, working closely with

We are currently seeking a highcalibre professional to join our team as aASSOCIATE, ACTUARIAL SERVICES

In this role you will:

• The jobholder is part of Par & Universal Life Fund Management and Experience Studies team.
• The jobholder is mainly responsible for supporting experience monitoring, assumption setting, impact/sensitivity testing, and Universal Life Fund Management in the Actuarial Services Department to support business needs.
• Supporting the monthly and quarterly delivery of management information for internal stakeholders.
• Supporting in ad-hoc actuarial projects and onboarding of new products.
• Working closely with the group office and external Actuarial consultants, ensuring adherence to the HSBC guidelines and statutory regulations.

To be successful you will need:

• 0 to 2 years of Actuarial experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently, work well with others as interaction with other departments may be required.
• Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
• Experience in SQL/Python and/or Prophet is a plus.
