Job Description
Who we're looking for
Reporting to the Technology Assurance Domain Lead, as the successful candidate, you will be responsible to support the Assurance Function in maintaining the Assurance Methodology, facilitating annual planning and tracking of assurance activities, and coordinating regulatory inspections and reviews across Group and subsidiaries.
What you'll do
- Maintain and enhance the Assurance Methodology, including its associated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and templates, to ensure consistency, relevance, and alignment with industry best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate periodic reviews and updates.
- Track and monitor the delivery progress of assurance reviews against the approved annual plan for both Group and subsidiaries. Escalate delays and ensure that any changes to the plan are duly reviewed and approved in accordance with governance protocols.
- Coordinate and facilitate the annual risk assessment and assurance planning process across Group and subsidiaries. This includes conducting planning workshops to communicate timelines and expectations. Ensure consistency in risk inputs, alignment with Group priorities, and completeness of planning documentation. Contribute to process improvements by enhancing the quality of inputs and identifying areas for refinement.
- Support the Internal and External Audit Management function, with a focus on coordinating the annual regulatory inspection process and regulatory reviews across subsidiaries. Assist the team lead in tracking requests and responses between country teams and Group, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining oversight of submission progress.
- Support the Technology Assurance team in executing assigned assurance reviews. Perform control testing by evaluating control design and operating effectiveness, prepare issue write-ups, and engage stakeholders for discussion and validation.
- Engage actively with team members to promote knowledge sharing and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Undertake strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement and operational effectiveness of the Assurance Function.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISA or equivalent are highly desirable.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in external or internal audit or risk management functions is required.
- Good understanding of MAS Technology Risk Management guidelines and other equivalent regulations is preferred.
- Experience in usage of data analytics for audit reviews and/or continuous auditing will be a strong plus.
- Familiarity with governance control frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS, COBIT, SOC 2 etc) would be an advantage.
- Adaptability in multi-cultural settings.
