Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Project/Business Analyst to support Commercial Banking through strategic initiatives, data analytics, regulatory reporting and process improvement. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in business analytics, project management, or finance, with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Python, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or an equivalent professional certification.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in business management, project management, business analytics, data analytics or finance.
• Experience in Commercial Banking or Corporate Banking spaces preferred.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft product suite skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft CoPilot and GenAI tools, including prompt engineering techniques.
• Strong data analytics skills (SQL, Python, Qlik, PowerBI).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; Ability to work with stakeholders across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across Commercial Banking.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery from business requirements through implementation.
• Prepare business cases, project proposals, and management updates.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues and stakeholder communication.
• Develop, enhance and automate reports, dashboards and analytical models.
• Support regulatory reporting with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvement.
