Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. seeks an Assistant Vice President, Senior Data Architect to lead the design of an modern data and analytics platform.

You will define the data governance framework, architecture blueprints, and policies that align with the enterprise strategy, while collaborating with security to ensure policy compliance. You will guide senior stakeholders, shape data strategies across multiple business domains, and push forward scalable data solutions using leading cloud and big data

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of data architecture experience.
• Banking industry experience preferred.
• Strong data governance and policy formulation experience.

About the job Assistant Vice President, Senior Data Architect

Job Description

• Design and develop modern data and analytics platform
• Design and develop Data and Analytics architecture blueprint, Policy, Standards and Procedures for the organization.
• Define data management and governance framework.
• Design solution architecture across specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, capabilities, and requirements.
• Collaborate with security and risk teams to develop/update/promote Data Security Policies and Standards which are aligned to Organization's Security Procedure and Practices.
• Provide consulting support to Project's business/application/Technology Architects to ensure solution's alignment to overall Data Enterprise Architecture Policy and Standards.
• Understands technology trends and its practical application to existing and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operation models.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of data architecture experiences.
• Experience in banking industry is preferred

Job Requirements

• Experience in modern AI, analytics, big data and technologies including cloud platforms, data quality, governance, data strategy and architecture
• Experience in design and implementation of modern data warehouse and Data Lake/Big Data Technology including Teradata, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, snowflake, databricks, Oracle DW and Cloudera.
• Experience in developing Data Governance model for data Profiling, data quality, data catalog, data tagging, data glossary and data lineage
• Deep understanding of Modern Data Platform.
• Experience in developing Data Enterprise Architecture Policy, Standards and Procedures for global bank.
• Deep understanding in Data Management framework with strong focus on Data availability, quality, integrity, usability, security.
• A Strong understanding in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling. Well versed in data modelling techniques (Kimball) in both Entity Relationship data model and dimensional data model
• Experience in database technologies such as AWS RDS, MS SQL, DB2, Oracle DB, MySQL, MongoDB/ NoSQL
• Experience in Data transformation / integration, BI, Data Analytics, Reporting, Machine Learning toolsets such as, Talend, Alteryx, Business Objects, Informatica, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Experience in data streaming technology using, Kafka, Tibco.
• Experience in Data Virtualization Technology (Denodo)
• Experience with machine learning, NLP and deep learning modelling.
• Knowledge in data mesh and data product, and data marketplace
• Strong presentation and technical documentation, and project management skills.
• Experience in Application Data Integration using Enterprise Service Bus and/or API Management.
• Familiar with TOGAF concept with practical experience in full TOGAF cycle implementation.
• Familiar with Financial Regulator's Data Governance Policy and MAS TRM.
