Join Singlife as our AVP, Prophet Modelling to lead model optimization, governance, and integration of new products into Prophet. You’ll drive enhancements across deterministic and ALS models, ensure compliance with RBC2, and inspire a high-performing team while collaborating with key stakeholders. Ideal for an experienced actuarial lead with deep Prophet expertise and strong leadership credentials.

Responsibilities:
  • Actuarial Transformation & Strategy – Contribute to actuarial transformation initiatives, including software and ecosystem enhancements, automation, and model standardization, to support business growth and scalability.
  • Optimize Prophet Models – Lead improvements in coding, runtime efficiency, and modelling methodologies to enhance overall performance.
  • Integrate New Products & Inforce Changes – Oversee incorporation of new products and implement enhancements driven by inforce management initiatives.
  • Ensure Robust Governance – Establish and maintain strong Prophet model management and governance practices for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain Deterministic & ALS Models – Conduct regular reviews and updates of both deterministic and Asset Liability Strategy (ALS) models.
  • Lead and Develop Team – Provide direct and indirect leadership to a team of three, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Education & Professional Credentials – Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science (preferred) and Fellowship with SOA, IFoA, or Institute of Actuaries Australia (preferred).
  • Actuarial Expertise – 8–10 years of experience in Prophet modelling and life valuation/capital management, with exposure to ALS modelling preferred.
  • Regulatory Knowledge – Strong understanding of Singapore Risk-Based Capital 2 (RBC2); experience withICS is an advantage.
  • Leadership Skills – Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience, with ability to motivate and guide teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with Finance, IT, regulators, auditors, and Group Office.
