We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Product Development.

In this role you will
  • Drive End-to-End Product Development – Drive the design, pricing, and launch of life insurance products, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Oversee Product Documentation & Delivery – Manage preparation and approval of product materials, including contracts, policy illustrations, product summaries and marketing collaterals.
  • Monitor Product Performance – Track post-launch KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and recommend enhancements or repricing where needed.
  • Manage Regulatory & Governance Requirements – Ensure products comply with internal, regulatory, and audit standards, maintaining proper documentation and governance processes.
  • Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with internal teams, reinsurers, and regulators to resolve issues and ensure smooth product implementation.
  • Conduct Market & Competitor Analysis – Perform competitive benchmarking and analyse customer and distribution insights to refine propositions.
  • Support Reporting & Committee Submissions – Prepare and deliver required product reports, updates, and submissions to internal and external governance bodies.
  • Drive Continuous Product Improvement – Lead product change initiatives, manage ad-hoc projects, and provide actionable recommendations for portfolio enhancement.
To be successful you will need
  • Strong experience in individual life and health insurance product development or management. Strong background in protection and savings products with exposure to critical illness riders, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Think creatively, challenge assumptions, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with people from different business functions.
  • Graduate in Business Management, Actuarial or related fields of study.
