We are supporting a leading and reputable insurer in the region to hire an Assistant Vice President - Corporate Treasury, sitting within the Group Finance division. This is a high-visibility role with strong exposure to investment strategy, portfolio management, and enterprise‑wide ALM initiatives.

What You Will Do
Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management
  • Support new investment initiatives and optimise existing portfolios
  • Manage and monitor Treasury sub‑portfolios and segregated funds
  • Conduct macroeconomic, credit, equity, FX, and market analysis to inform tactical positioning
  • Execute rebalancing activities and optimise ALM positions
  • Assist with cash and liquidity management to enhance balance sheet efficiency
Performance & Risk Analysis
  • Track portfolio performance for SAA and TAA
  • Analyse key financial risks (Interest Rate, Credit, Equity, FX)
  • Produce monthly investment & ALM reporting for senior leadership
Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA)
  • Evaluate asset classes, expected returns, and model inputs
  • Provide analytical insights for long‑term investment strategy and asset mix
What the Hiring Manager Really Wants
  • 3–5 years in investment management / treasury / asset management / risk within financial services or insurance
  • Someone who can both drive new investment projects AND optimise ongoing portfolios
  • Strong analytical mindset with comfort around markets, instruments, and ALM principles

Requirements
