The Technical Team

The Technical Department is a vital department responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our diverse fleet of vessels. Our talented team plays a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency in maritime operations. What You Will Do

As Assistant Vessel Manager, you will participate in the operation management services to several ships under charge to ensure they run in a safe manner as required by our organisation, and the running costs for all the vessels are within the budget allocated by the ship owners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the safe operation of a Fleet of Oil/ Chemical Tankers vessels assigned to you.
  • Ensure vessel compliance with company, SMS, international and local regulations.
  • Besides day to day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise tank cleaning operation, ensure safety of navigation, and carry out vessel inspections
  • Required to conduct in-depth investigations when required, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
  • You will also supervise the preparation of vessels for various 3rd party inspections like – Sire / CDI / MESQAC Inspections / TMSA Review.
