Overview
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Assistant Unit Manager (F&B) to oversee our night-shift operations. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and supporting the growth and performance of the F&B team.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the F&B outlet to ensure smooth functioning and high standards.
 - Maintain excellent levels of customer service at all times.
 - Work closely with the Chef and Marketing team to design and plan exceptional menus.
 - Plan weekly, monthly, and festive menus, and coordinate marketing materials.
 - Prepare staff rosters, schedule manpower, and manage attendance, overtime, and leave applications.
 
Team Leadership & Development
- Foster a collaborative environment with open two-way communication and strong team ownership.
 - Lead, train, and mentor the F&B team to develop talent and ensure consistent performance.
 - Conduct appraisals and provide feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
 
Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure strict compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
 - Monitor and maintain kitchen and outlet equipment to ensure proper working conditions.
 - Manage supplies and inventory to prevent wastage while maintaining adequate stock levels.
 - Inspect incoming goods from suppliers for quality and accuracy.
 
Reporting & Analysis
- Report to management on sales results, team productivity, and operational performance.
 - Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
 
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant/F&B management, preferably in night-shift operations.
 - Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
 - Ability to plan and manage staff schedules effectively.
 - Knowledge of F&B operations, cost control, and inventory management.
 - Passion for customer service and team development.
