Job summary

Asian College Of Teachers in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the lead teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities and to reinforce classroom learning.

You will assist with materials, supervision, behavior support, and collaboration with staff and parents to support student well-being and progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce classroom learning.
• Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare teaching materials, learning resources, and classroom displays.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, field trips, and other school events.
• Encourage positive behavior and support students' social and emotional development.
• Observe student progress and share feedback with the lead teacher.
• Assist with classroom organization, attendance records, and daily administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student learning and well-being.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school activities as required.
