You will support the main classroom teachers in the implementation of daily programs to facilitate learning of children. This includes daily routine care of children. You will also support main teachers in preparation of materials such as teaching resources and children’s development profile. Being part of the team, you will participate in parents and community engagement activities. This is a permanent position at one of our childcare centres in the Clementi region.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Facilitate integration program
• Provide relief support during lessons & support in providing activities to facilitate children’s learning
• Assist main teacher in classroom management and implement daily program & curriculum as appropriate
• Assist in making & maintaining learning resources/toys
• Facilitate in daily routines
• Maintains proper classroom hygiene & safety
• Class admin as required eg mark attendance, short memos to parents, mark class attendance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Secondary 4 education with at least a year of experience working in a preschool / childcare / kindergarten setting
• Early Childhood qualification is an advantage (e.g. Fundamentals certificate)
• Pleasant disposition with good communication skills
• Enjoy working with young children
