Job summary

Energy Market Authority (EMA) in Singapore seeks a strategic communications professional to develop and execute public communications plans. You will work with media, stakeholders, and internal teams to craft clear narratives and impactful campaigns about energy initiatives.

You will gather insights from data to strengthen messaging, manage crises when needed, and ensure consistent communication across channels. Strong writing and stakeholder engagement are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Education in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies and campaigns.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills to make complex topics accessible.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
• Proactive, able to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Analytical skills to turn data into insights.
• Experience with earned, owned, and paid media is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive communication strategies and campaigns to raise public awareness and inform on energy initiatives.
• Create compelling content for media releases, pitches, and other channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and handle media inquiries.
• Gather and analyse data to evaluate communication effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Manage issues and crisis communications when required and participate in drills.
• Coordinate internal communications to keep staff informed of key initiatives.
